95% of the Things in Your Life do NOT Matter — Here’s Why

What are you invested in?

Just like most things… this piece of writing likely won’t greatly impact you personally.

Are you pretty invested in the election results? Why?

Do you have a favorite sports team? Why?

Are you closely following some celebrities? Why?

Let’s be real — those three things and many many others will not have a meaningful impact on your life unless YOU allow them to. It’s up to us as individuals to be proactive and pivot and shift where necessary BEFORE it’s necessary.

Sure, maybe if you make $400,000+ and Joe Biden is elected president you will need to pay more in taxes — so be proactive… if that’s important to you — many people don’t care and will pay what the government tells them to.

Sure, maybe if your sports team wins the championship you’ll have a few parties and hangout with people more than you would otherwise… if that’s important to you — many people won’t even watch the game.

Sure, maybe if your favorite celebrity posts a picture you will have something interesting to share with friends… if that’s important to you — many people will not have their lives impacted by what someone posts.

The reality is, life happens no matter what happens around us. If we work hard — life happens. If we sleep all day — life happens. If a new president is elected — life happens.

Life happens.

So what are you going to do about it?

Because let’s be real… no one is coming to save you.

Nobody is going to walk up to you and reveal your dreams to you… go chase them.

Only God can make a way where man can’t.

Think about where you’re heading right now… and remove everything that pushes you away from those goals.

How do you view the world? Is the glass half full or half empty? Maybe it’s exactly halfway. What does that mean?

Frankly, it doesn’t matter. There’s a glass in front of you with something in it — do something with it and accomplish more than you thought possible.

“What man do in a lifetime, God can do in a moment.”

“Stop being patient and start asking yourself, how do I accomplish my 10 years plan in 6 months? You will probably fail but you will be a lot further ahead of the person who simply accepted it was going to take 10 years.” — Elon Musk
